Both books are first editions from 1988 (Showa 63). There are minor age-related scratches and sun fading on the spines, but they do not affect readability. As you can see, the top and side edges are surprisingly clean. The postcards at the end of the books are also included.
Overall, I believe these are in good condition for books that are 37 years old.
However, aesthetic judgment varies from person to person, so please consider this as a used book.
